What is the “All In” Food Journey by Nicola J. Rinaldi?
Have you ever heard of a way of eating (diet but it’s too robust) that can help you regain your period cycles, gain healthy weight, improve your lifestyle & life and many more ways????
WELLL
THERE
IS ONE!!!
(And I have personally done it {and am still doing it})
This “All In” journey applies to the women who have missing periods over months (Hypothalamic amenorrhea) , are in an unhealthy body weight and want to improve their life for the better, etc. Because I have been there myself personally and it sucks.
In this blog post I will share what the “All In” Food Journey is, the benefits of it and resources for you to get started today improving your life in a healthy way.
What is the [“All In” Food Journey]?
The “All In” Food Journey is a method Nicola J. Rinaldi (& other contributing authors ) refers to her book “No Period Now What?”, that is a way to help people with hypothalamic amenorrhea start a journey with food in a healthy and long term way of eating in the end goal of gaining back period cycles. You start by eating a minimum of certain calories every day of any type of carbs, fats and proteins to get your body used to more food and decrease the need of always being hungry. At the beginning it’s hard personally while still being in a mindset set on certain myths about food, but eventually this journey will help you long term be a person who views food in a refreshing and health giving way. And this journey never truly stops but is ongoing daily.
Why is the “All In” Food Journey Important?
This is crucially for all women to know because at any time in the least expected time you could start not having your period. And being knowledgeable on it beforehand (not after the fact but it happens) that we can fight and do things NOW to help if you have hypothalamic amenorrhea. “Hypothalamic amenorrhoea (HA) accounts for approximately 30% of cases of secondary amenorrhoea in women of reproductive age” ^1. This shows how it can happen to a percentage of us and be not aware of what it is.

1- You have a high probability of regaining your period cycles back
If you have HA, it means you have stopped getting your period cycles and it is all due to many factors. So the main goal is to regain that back, and by eating all in which is eating all foods except (non allergic ones) till satiated is the way to go. There is a minimum that the book (As in book only referring to “No Period Now What” By Nicola j. Rinaldi in this blog post )^2 that there must be a minimum of 2,500 calories each and every single day. Which will give your body the energy it needs first to all essential functioning parts of your body and then after to YOUR Monthly CYCLES !!!

2- You can build a healthy relationship with food
From where you live to your preferences, to your relationships with your parents etc, influence YOUR relationship with FOOD!!!. For instance, personally ever since young my relationship with food has been unhealthy and very restrictive. But for me one big part of it was my body not being able to process some food that it was just very uncomfortable solely eating. So from there restriction happened and you know the rest. Till I found about the all in food journey and started it and have never been more at peace with myself and how I view food. Now I view food as nutrition and a way for me to have energy to do my purpose. Couldn’t be more happier than I am now.

3- You can be the best version of yourself that (you may or may not have been before), all physically, mentally and spiritually renewed for the best!!!
Back when I restricted food, was a teenager and to a point weighed as if I was younger than I actually was. My world revolved around not life giving things. Me Kenia Lievanos now 2023 writing this in my 3 years and 6 months since being “All in”, I have never been more healthier, happier, joyful and full of life. Food is not I think about 24/7 but purpose, career goals, friends/family etc. If you fall in the Hypothalamic amenorrhea symptoms and are unsure if you should start it, Do It. For yourself and for your future YOU!!!
