How I passed my Driving Road Test in Texas, USA!

This is Kenia again and am here to share my tips and experience in passing your driving test and what I did beforehand to practice for it.

1.)There was a drive and need for me getting it which is something that pushed me to get it and be determined to practice and pass it. I passed it today May 20, 2022 wooo hooo.

2.)I watched Smart Drive Test on YouTube first to get the hang of driving. Observing others when in the passenger seat is a must and don’t engage in heavy conversations because that is dangerous, just watch them handle situations on intersections and everywhere you go.

3.) Get someone with a driving license to take you out first to an empty parking lot and feel the wheel and how the vehicle works. do basic maneuvers and get a feel of what driving is. (this was intimidating, but you will get the hang of it.

-Read the driving manual for your country, state and city for any specific laws or maneuvers when driving that are illegal. (Ex, in New York, USA you can’t turn right on a red light, etc).

4.Practice slow hand maneuvers like backing up, parallel parking, driving in a straight line, etc. (Watch Smart Drive Test Slow hand maneuvers playlist). Better if you can practice with orange tall cones, you can rent those.

5.) Go to a driving school for some lessons, but I advice going when you feel confident driving the car since they are not cheap and will cost you. They are worth it but make good use of the lessons and ask any questions you may have .

-Watch all of Smart Drive Test Videos on YouTube (For reals, it helps you on all the parts of driving, they are a life saver). Take Smart Drive Test driving course on their website and it includes defensive driving tips and more driving related courses. -Do your Road test, if you fail that is okay. You have more chances of trying it and passing. (It took me 2 tries 2 pass. You got this.)
